No, it won't matter if you already had them replaced. There's actually a section on the letter that states if you paid to have them replaced, you can submit paperwork for reimbursement. If you want to check, PM me your VIN and I can give you more information.
Thanks!

Do you have to have a CEL to get them replaced? It says the replacement program is available until 10/31/2014 but doesnt mention anything about if there is a vehicle odometer cap...
Ive had no issues and would prefer not to take it in unless I have to. If Im over 100k in 2014 will they still replace them? I got the notice but its written very poorly!!

Taking mine in today for the newer coils... I have a 2008 xB with 70K miles, no issues but if they say the part is defective, I will get it replaced. This way I don't have to worry about it going bad in the future.

Dealer appointment was cake... It was done in about 25mins. All is well.
Tomorrow I replacing the spark plugs with the same replacements... After 70K it is time (for me). I know they good up to 100-120K or whatever, but I am one of those preventative people

Hey everybody,
Just for clarification: Yes, there is a recall titled "(LSC) B0K
Certain 2008-2009 Model Year Scion xB Vehicles Ignition Coil Replacement" and Toyota dealers will replace the ignition coils at no cost to the customer.
Also, if you had already paid to have the ignition coil(s) replaced and you are under this campaign, you can submit a copy of your invoice, proof of payment and proof of ownership for reimbursement.
Owner notification began in early November. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or give us a call!
Thanks,
Jenn

I am having the same issues right now at the moment. I am the original owner, but I never got the notification at all. Can I still get the ignition coils replaced at no cost??
