the scene seems less saturated with the LM5 but I think I like the LM20 better and I'm not always a mesh wheel fan.

Finally, got my wheels on. After rolling/pulling my fenders, a lot of cutting and hammering and some headaches because i didn't listen to the advice on here and tried fitting 225/40 on a 9.5 with +16 offset, i can FINALLY post here

Picture from the test fit. Didn't finish until 1 am so i'll take full pictures tomorrow.

Why did you go with such a beefy tire?

I LOVE the way 225/40s look on a 9.5. It's just so hard to fit them when a heavy drop.

LOL Be careful.... Fender might buckle. Happened to me when I was on 225/40s.

First time on stance. Bad decisions lol
Would 215/40 make that much of a difference?

Please.. enlighten me. How did you do it. Pics?

@ Jasper- I love how they look but i cant go any lower. I've cut, hammered, rolled and pulled. If i go any lower than this i rub driving any speed higher than 5 mph. Advice?

There's not much you can do other than getting smaller tires. I've been there and I ran out of ways to make it work. 215/40s definitely make a lot of difference.

You can see pics of the cae in some posts I've made in this thread in recent days and also u can check it out on dailydetergent.com (jaspers blog :D )

As far as how I did it well I have maxxed out negative camber in the rear the rear fenders are also rolled (by me) no cutting the bumper or shaving n I removed the bolt on each side so it doesn't rub. it doesn't rub at all not even on huge bumps we have here in miami. Now the fronts I have maxxed out camer on stock bolts with the the front fenders rolled as well (by me) no shaving no cutting either but I need slightly more camber up front as it does rub a bit up front so I'm not as low as id like to be in the front but its nothing I can't handle right now and its mainly on dips that r decent size. Both front and rear I tuck a bit of tire.

wow. so hmm. 215/40 makes that much of a difference huh.... guess im going for 215's after my 235/35 wears out. anyone on here with 235/35 on 9.5 like me?

i rolled and pull (a little) all fenders and cut/hammered the rear bumper tab and metal and i'm still rubbing a tiny bit in the rear driver side when im driving tucking tire.

for those running 215 on 9.5: do you ever feel like the tire is going to debead? i take my turns a little faster on like ramps cuz of my rear sway.

Ah, yes! I have seen that blog. Super sick car man. All 3 cars are dope.
I'm running +16 offset, so it's a bit more poke to deal with.

Yea. I guess you're right. I might have my fenders flared a little instead. We'll see.

Thanks n yeah I know but I had a previous set up with lower offset idr now as this is my 7th set of wheels in a lil less than 3 years of owning the car lol but I def say it it could be also the type of tires u r running as some r run wider than others (I work for a tire wholesaler) n there's a dif in every tire I can tell u that much but it takes time work n patience for sure
