Calling all 2008 TC rs owners....need help

Okay...I know All Scions arrive at the dealership MONOSPEC with the only differences other than the special series models being color, and a/t or m/t.
Scion offered their own brand security system, called Scion Security. It could be ordered and installed by the dealership. Which I did back in 2004 when I ordered my tC. This security system is uniform accross the country. It does not make the car beep when you lock or unlock the car.
If your dealership installed some security system of their own choice that wasn't the Scion Security offering, then yes, then the way it is designed can make the car beep. Hell, if you want, there is a DIY to make the Scion Security system beep, but it is not how it was originally designed. You had a different security system installed on your car that wasn't Scion Security, so that is why your car beeped. Cool? Cool.

This quote is what was bothering me. You are saying that all tC1's do not make a confirmation noise, regardless if it's oem or NOT. Like, no matter what you do, it's not going to sound. That's what this says. Cool? Cool. Because we were cool, and then this happened, and then it ended, and then we were cool again.
