Besk one's blue Cold Cathode Trunk Mod
http://homepage.mac.com/besk_one/PhotoAlbum12.html
some picture of the install, took me almost 4 hours to trace the right wires and get everything working, these are just a few of the many steps and a few of the finised product - i'm adding 2 more 6" tubes and will post some new pictures of how the trunk looks when i get those in!

the lights are wired to the dome light circut coming from the switch on the trunklid so whenever someone opens the trunk (or a door) the lights go on along with the dome light!

it's basicly two 6" Cold Cathode Flourecent Lights with inverters (you need 2 inverters)
but this week i'm adding 2 more tubes to make it brighter (2 on each side, i have dual output inverters)
you also need some wire, some shrink tubing, electrical tape, some velcro tape, hot glue (or zip ties), a working understanding of electrical theory and a whole lot of time to make it stealth and clean.
You can get the lights at http://svc.com
everything else at a hardware store.

get a volt meter tho before you start back there, i forget which wire is the 12v and which is the ground circut for the dome light switch - you'll know the ground because it will read 12v when the switch is off, and ground when the dome light is on (sounds weird, but trust me the wires are behind the switch so it seems backwards but it's not)

or pm randy and get a pre wired kit for under your seats
randy are you going to be producing a trunk kit too? if so i'd be gald to help you design it
it's a little more complex than the underseat install but in a kit form it should only require stripping some insulation from 2 wires, shrink tubing them and wrapping the harnass back up and running the wires across the trunk!
