Default Ticking coming from engine bay

Today my TC developed a pretty loud tick from the engine bay it sounds like its near the alternator/belts but I cant tell what it is. THe belts visually appear to be fine and I checked my oil; it was fine too. Does anyone know what it could be or has had a similar issue? It's kind of hard to hear in the video but it gets faster if the RPM's go up. If its helpful my tC is a 2008 with 98000 miles. Thanks.

Heres a video I took of it:

With the condition of that engine bay, I'm not surprised. That looks rough. Having rusted components on the top of accessories in your engine bay says something. Anyways, sounds like a pulley needs replacing, maybe water pump, or even that alternator pulley that's rusted to hell.

I think you're right about the alternator pulley it sounds like it's coming directly from the alternator upon further inspection. Can't do much about the rust I drive a lot in the winter and they salt the hell out of the roads here.

Soap and water goes a long way. You aren't the only person to have a car on those salted chicago roads. I live right there as well. I get the salt off once a week and I never have issues.

Will do, I'm guessing the previous owner didn't take the best care of the engine bay either, I don't think it all happened in the 6 months I've had it
