Would you believe after owning my car now for soooooo long I never knew I had an a/c filter, I thought it was only on 06' and up. Anyways, I happened to be at the dealer today and asked them if they had a filter for my car and they said " um we don't show anything for the Tc and according to this chart there is blah blah blah..." anyways!!!!
I work at Lexus so I am just going to see if a filter from an ES330 will fit, I will find out tomorrow. If anyone cares to know if I find something like price and part numbers or whatever let me know...
I am soooo happy I can install an a/c filter on my ride it makes such a difference! Shame on Scion for not even installing a filter or even mentioning anything about an a/c filter in my owners manual.
Dang I wrote a lot

There it is, the finished product. I had to cut some of the edges for it to fit, not sure if Toyota has an exact fit for this so I used an a/c filter that fits an RX300 and IS300, it cost me 13 bucks. If you want to do this on your own be careful not to cut too much!
Notice the small edges where the filter rests, yep, that's there for a reason.
Well after installation I noticed a decrease in air output so maybe once the filter gets dirty I will not replace it, but we'll see.

I am going to go to home depot to pick this up. What section is the Klima-Cleaner and filters in? The filters look like home air condition filters but they seem to be a lot narrower.

I don't think Klima-Cleaner is available at Home Depot...could be wrong but I think you have to get it online. I got two cans for like 20 bucks I think. Here's the link to the site I got mine from...They raised it 2 bucks from the beginning of this year http://stores.1z-usa.com/-strse-Inte...Categories.bok

Otherwise, Home Depot keeps it in irrelevant sections... I think at my HD, the filters were next to the PVC pipes. No kidding. Took me about 45 minutes to find it.
Tried asking someone, he didn't acknowledge me for the longest time and then also obviously lied to me just to get me to go away.
I have more HD stories, but I won't put them here. Just know that HD is a waste of space on this planet. Go to Lowe's if you can - they still know who the customer is.

so i got the same filter as the poster, and being the dumby i am, i just began tearing off the cardboard and forgot which side was top and stuff.
so i just chose a side and put the filter in and turned on the ac. i put my hand to the ac and i checked how much air went through. and then i took out my filter and turned the filter upside down and check my ac again. i couldnt really tell the difference between either side.
will there be a difference once i start driving and i dont turn on my ac but allow air into my car? and how will i know if i put in my filter the wrong way?
great diy btw. cutting and removing the cardboard from the filter is one hell of a battle though
