Just bought a used 2008 Scion tC and the first thing i wanted to do was replace to stock head unit with an aftermarket one. Its a Dual xdvd276bt from Walmart its cheap but whatever lol also picked up the Scosche wiring harness TA021.
I wired the head unit to the harness using butt connectors only thing I did different was put the safety brake pink wire into the ground wire so i can play DVDs without the brake being on. Then i bought the Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel control thing.

I followed the directions to the T but it didn't turn on or work at all but I did not use proxy connectors or splicers I just cut the wire and hooked directly into the wire. Now with the new head unit in the factory sub does not work nor does the
front right door speaker also now the passenger side window does not work for the driver side. I'm wondering if i messed it up bad because I cut the harness wires in the car that the steering wheel control thing hooks to because after it didn't work
I just put shrink wrap over the exposed wires and said ill just take it back because I couldn't get it to work.

I'm kinda at a loss as to how to fix these problems.
