Default My Build Thread

So guess I'll jump on the band wagon and start a build thread. Bought it around Halloween and haven't done much yet because the weather up here was and partially still is crap, I'm in the middle of moving, and I'm pretty much lazy. The car was bought with a Greddy axel-back and DC headers all ready on (courtesy of prior owner) and also sold with a Weapon R intake so I threw that on the following weekend. As of lately I have tinted the stock tails, painted the stock rims, threw on new tires for the stockies, got 4 more on standby for whenever I order 18"s, ordered and received some Stechs but havent been able to install them yet. By the end of this summer (which is about mid-August for me) I hope to tint the windows, lower it, do something with the headlights, put my system in from my old car, and either get a new full cat-back or just find a mid-pipe to go with the Greddy.

Pics soon...

Well finally had a chance to put on the Teins last weekend so took a couple pics, just shy of a week now so they've pretty much settled and has dropped just a tad bit more than in the pics but overall I couldnt be any happier with how it sits.

I feel like it's a slow process but now hopefully it's on to the next couple summer projects.

Let me know how the S Techs work on stock struts. I've been wanting drop but I don't really wanna go super low. However I do know that most lowering springs aren't meant for use with stock struts so keep me posted

^^^Your definetly correct, stock struts are not made for aftermarket springs, but it also depends on how your drive and how much. I recently hit 40,000 miles and put on about 1,000 a month so I'd probably be good on stock struts for another 10,000 miles or so but you honestly never know. fyi, I do plan on getting different struts before the winter anyway!!! Most likely gonna go tokico

As for the ride, I definitely feel a slight difference, especially in turning of course. I highly recommend dropping a little man, its needing!
