So this coming weekend im planing on doing the homie depot lip kit. Has anyone elseput it on there? if so anything i should look out for? im planing on using 3m tape until i get a hold of a impact drill to drill in some screws.

i have installed the home depot lip / garage door liner thing. i like it; it's subtle and works.

i would hesistate with just 3m tape as the garage-liner-to-bottom-bumper adhesion can be rather weak, especially if the surfaces are wet/dirty. i used gorilla tape and some rubber glue to reinforce the mating on top of 3m double sided tape. i've had it on for over 7 months now no issues.

Im really happy with my H/D lip. I've had mine on for over three years and have never had any problems with it. I also get a lot of complements on it as well. If you're going to double side tape it on, I recommend using what I did. While you're at Home Depot, go to the section where they have the numbers for the houses. They have a double sided tape there thats for sticking on house nubers, has a red backing to it (I think it might be 3M). That stuff is awesome though, very strong, weather proof, and good adhesion.
