it's for us design nerds who see all the cool limited edition vinyl toys from japan and say, "it would be teh awsumz to design one of those." you buy the blank doll and modify it to your own personal style. there's a store here in the orlando area that has a yearly munny design contest. i've seen some crazy stuff submitted in that.
