^Usually if that is the case then you might be pushing the right area but wrong part. Push down on the very end of the tab and then pull, it should disconnect. If that doesn't work trying pushing down, wiggling, and then pulling.

I just used this post to install some aftermarket LED tail's today. It worked out great. Thanks for taking the time to post this DIY. It really is appreciated. "2 thumbs up"

VERY useful DIY... if it wasn't for his thread, I might have had a very difficult time installing these...

I took a shortcut though... I only removed the screws in the wheelwells and the top of the bumper... I just tilted the top of the bumper back far enough to work on the lights.

Made the process just a little quicker...

No, not really hard, and you don't want to "bend" it, just tilt it back far enough to get the lights in and out. You still have to separate the bumper from the fenders, but since the top of the bumper slides into the bottom of the lights, it doesn't take much.

Anyone know what the part number for the screw is on the rear bumper? It's one of the two screws you see when you first open the hatch. I need to order a replacement for that. Thanks for the help.

I think it should be noted that those tails are a PITA to pull off. I had to pull both of them VERY hard to get them to pop off after everything had been removed. Some of you might have the same issue... so if they dont come right out, you gotta pull em HARD! I mean put some AZZ into it =D

quick question - I have the mudflaps also and I am trying to install my TYCs today. Can someone explain to me where that clip under the wheel is located? I cant seem to find it - do I have to remove the mudflaps to see it?

Thanks in advance! Sorry if this is a very nooB question.

i wanna make this note...
if you have a rear lip, you WILL need to unscrew the sides, or else itll hold on to the lining.

^True, but if you try to remove the bumper with the lip attached....that's just stupid. Pure common sense to remove the lip first.

OEM GFX lip doesn't need to be removed.
