Cheap Scion gear on ebay?

just got this in the mail today... ...$8.25 shipped. I had never seen this stuff before but i think i got a good deal :-) What is with the Scion CD? this wasnt even in listed in the auction but came with.

The CD is just a promo. I got it at the dealership. They actually just had them laying all around to grab. Same with the rectangular keychain. Not a bad price i guess

I got handed that rectangular keychain and the ipod sock from a guy who went to a car show, got it from their booth. I got another sock and keychain the following year from him too

The CD's are new yearly, so there are 5 now, I think, all released through the dealer as free promo items.

Just go to the dealer and ask if they have the latest, or any old ones. They probably will give it to you, though I think it's more a freebe to lure new young buyers via cheap trinkets - or anybody who's easily impressed by free stuff. My dealer gave me 4 of them he had laying around, telling me they were "collector's items"

all Scion gear (even the stuff they have for sale on the website) has been given out for free at one time or another. Just depends on what event you attended. If you just attended a car show like HIN, then key chains and hats are normal freebies. If you actually had your car in the show with Scion, you got a cool Scion poker set with real poker chips.

If you went to an event like Scion VIP Miami or Scion VIP Vegas then the freebies are much niceer comparatively.

Miami people got a Scion ring and Scion Luggage. Vegas people got a Scion "thug" chain...

well we've only ever gotten 2 events here the first one we got nothing, the second one they gave away the light up necklaces and towels and a few other little items like the light, but from my experience the dealers locally don't give any of it away those keychains are like $40 here, the scion ones

the keychains they sell are the one with the purple cardboard, they don't have the hats, or anything like that locally just the keychains

I think its a good deal... i mean, he may have got it for free, but now you cant get it so its cool. the cd is kinda lame... unless your at a show and showing off your cars stereo, then just put in the CD let walk away. the hats pimp, the sock cool, the keychain is like 4-8 bucks depending on where u shop and the luggage thing is sweet havent seen it before. gratsz

Just go to any Scion event, you can get all of that stuff for free.
