Default NEED REPAIRS FOR MY VEHICLE!

OK... many have known me for my first post and being kind of obnoxious about telling a story on getting "road head" and some debit hitting my car. But we are all passed that, and now it has finally set into reality. I finally went to get an estimate on my TC, but it seems I do not want to get it "fixed" because of the color matches, and/or the fill ins where they fix. This is probably more of a psychological problem than it is a fiscal problem. So I was thinking on asking people on the forums how there repairs were, or did they try a different route on fixing the vehicle besides fill-ins or color matching. Did anyone get a new hood, or bumper then got it colored, or just bought salvaged parts? Anyways... some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

I didn't get any new parts, but I did have to get a repair done. My car was hit by a pretty good size rock going down the road at about 80 MPH. The rock hit the side of the car, (don't ask me how... I don't know ), and took a good chunk of the paint out, as well as left a nice little dent.

I took the car in to get it repaired and it looks like it never happened.

So, depending on the severity of the damages, and your repair skills, you may want to go ahead and take it some place to get repaired. Just make sure they are a repsectable place, and keep in mind that you do get what you pay for (unless you have some good connections or own a shop yourself... but if that were the case, I don't think you would be posting this question).

Don't worry about the paint. Toyota does make repair paint.
