i can get a carbon fiber engine cover cheaper then license plate piece. that piece should only cost about $25-$40 max.

as for the roof, you would need to drop the car off at a shop and have them lay the carbon fiber.

good luck on your search...the CF piece for the hatch are made local not from china, that's why the cost is so high.. as far as a cheaper CF cover ??..not sure about that, you alwasys get pretty much what you pay for.

Gene from magnaflow owns the xb with a CF overlay roof and Coi from Flux owns the company that makes the Cf hatch.

Avery Graphics makes a carbon fiber vinyl for sign and banner applications in two colors.
http://www.signage.averygraphics.com...series_id=1038

You would need to talk a sign maker or a friend who has a business and a tax ID in into buying it for you as it is sold through distributors. The widths are listed on the website.

A distributor in my area (atlanta) is reese supply www.reecesupply.com . They also have several locations in texas.

I saw it in person at hotimportdaze and it was cool. I only had one problem with it, there was a gap inbetween the roof and the top side. So that kind of hurt it.

There was? Did you mention it to Gene? I didn't see anything wrong with it when I was down a few months ago. Maybe the CF wrap is separating from the metal roof? I'm glad he changed out the tires, its got the stretched tire look now.

eh.. that's the cheap crappy looking faux vinyl. The stuff with the small silver rectangles printed on it. Also, no one makes faux CF vinyl in widths wide enough to wrap the roof in one peice (a seam would only be 10x uglier).

If you absolutely must have it - seams and all - you can get fauxCF in red, blue, yellow, black, - most any color.
