Hey everyone,

Just got these kickpanels in the mail from a guy that didnt have the time to finish the project so im gonna finish them off. Now their not sanded, not painted, thats all that needs to be done really. Now im trying to figure out if I should paint them, or wrap them in something... Thats where you guys come in, what should I do??? Here are some pics:

 

wrap them in carbon fiber.That would be so sick because they need some work and there looking kinda rough. Good luck post it up once you done with em.

 

hmm, carbon fiber, not a bad idea... Now I just need to find some... Keep the suggestions coming...

 

look online should be able to get it EZ along with the resin.

 

Im actually trying to think of other fabrics besides CF that would work... And look good.

 

Why don't you do purple vinyl to match your theme?

 

Well I would Maria but I dont think purple would flow down with all the other gray down by your feet... So its either gotta be black or gray whatever i wrap it in...

do u have like carbon fiber panels in ur car?? i would try to match what u got in ur car, im about to get a carbon fiber hood and hatch, then have sum of my trim inside done by pattern tech to match my carbon fiber outside

 

good luck wrapping that in vinyl! That is a lot of crazy angles and tight spaces. I would also suggest buying your vinyl from an automotive or marine upholstry shop. JoAnn's vinyl in my experience is tough to wrap as it is kind of thick. Please show some pics when done!
