Light for trunk area?
yeap, that's why I'm trying to find somone that is not using there dome light anymore (either because they put in an overhead DVD, panoramic sunroof, or just doesn't need it anymore) to put one back there. I was also looking into putting an xA map light for the font, because again, at night, you can't see $hit up there. I'm pretty sure the wiring is the same so I think we could just tap into the existing dome light and have the other lights operate with the door switches also. Otherwise you could also use one of those led or cathode light kits and see if you can get an extra one in the back cargo area.
I think Scion could have done a better job adding more lights. Even the one it comes with is really of no use to anyone up front. I'm thinking about adding some map lights from a Focus. Their headliner is about the same color, so the plastic surround should match our's as well.
As for the back, I like the idea of lights coming from the side panels. I would think this would provide more useful light than if it were coming from above.
