Geez, Driver's Ed needs to teach how to drive an Auto tranny. I don't get why people can't get plenty of power out of it, not a problem for me...

Not that I'm knocking automatics, but there is a pretty significant difference in power between the two.

For those who don't care, an auto is definitely the wiser choice. . . but for those who do, the auto can really bog down on you on the highway, especially if you are used to more power. Some may even say the difference is small, but it's all relative. . . that's why it is an option so that both consumers can be happy.

My stance on things is that any car that can do 0-60 in under 8.0 seconds doesn't really need a manual. . . The difference between a 9.0s 0-60 and a 10.0s 0-60 can be the difference between merging in front of semi-trucks or behind them. . . and I really hate rock chips, not to mention I have a really childish ego.

Your points are well taken... however, here we go again:

yeah I don't like seeing either one being put down, but truths are truths. But the bottom line is that different people have different needs. . . there is no better, just a better one for your particular needs and what makes you happier. There is nothing to debate in my opinion.

Should have 1, just that you could get a bigger one. Would help keep the car flat in a corner.
