Headers
The Megan and DC are about the same and Megan is like twice as cheap. I don't know about the dynos though. I know I didn't exactly answer your question but when you start shopping around if you are looking to save some money the Megans are a good buy. They don't have the ceramic coat like DC but they come polished which I think looks good.

Yup. Import Tuner did dyno the DC header in the June 04 issue. Hard to really tell what their numbers were because they didn't use stock as the Baseline. They had already added a AEM cold air intake and a DC exhaust. So going from that setup to one which included the header only netted an additional 1 hp (from 88.6 to 89.6). However they did have this to say "Although horsepower and torque figures gained only slightly over stock previous dyno figures, midrange showed an increase in horsepower throughout the power band in hp and torque."
Try this. Megan Racing stainless steel mandril bent headers on Ebay.

I have the DC Header. I don't know what the hp increase is because I didn't care. All I know is, my xB runs better at 80 mph and has better throttle response because of it. I've given rides to peeps on the freeway, and have had others follow me on the freeway, and they saw for themselves how the DC header helps the top end.
Does the DC header Make a noticeble noise increase, when combined w/ the axle back exhaust? I know when I put the Borla header on my Suby That there was definitely mor noise in the cabin than w/ just the exhaust.

Yeah it does, the sound is a little more higher. In fact I am advising everyone who has a manual scion to purchase the auto axle back if they are going to get headers. Just make sure that the sound is still a perfect hum. :D

To me, after adding the header, the noise isn't that much more noticeable inside. I hear the short ram sucking air, more than I hear the exhaust. Maybe its because I'm running a Tanabe axleback that is known for being quieter.
PM Evildave and ask him. He rode in my xB on the freeway and can atest to the throttle response and sound levels.
