Default Projector Lamps for '06

O.k man...I'm gonna come right out and say it...I DID do a search for this, and those posts are wayyyy old!

1) Do the '08 projector lamps directly fit onto an '06 tC?
2) Are the bulbs for the '08 projector lamps 9006 or are they "H" variety?
3) Anybody know how much these run, off the top of their heads?

I keep seeing them, and really really really would like to have 'em for my ride, but I have a 9006 bulb size HID kit, and do NOT want to add "H" series bulbs to something that more than likely already costs a grip.

Any opinions? What's the scoop guys?

I dont see why they wont fit since everything else is the same. Call parts dept for pricing and sit down when you do it

Hahaha...wellllll this is the info I have so far! So the Toyota parts guy I called....says... $267 per side for the lens assembly. When I asked him what bulb type it used, he says..."It doesn't say". Then I proceeded to ask him what size bulbs an '08 Scion tC takes...his book tells him a "part #" only. GRRRRR

That's when I said...uhm huh...thank ya bye! I'll keep diggin!

Yea, only bulbs need the be changed, the ballasts will work with anything basically. However, with the prices of bulbs, it's not such a bad idea to just get an entire new kit from HIDmobile or one of the other vendors around here. You could always just put the current lows into the high beam location and completely blind everything in your path .

DOODE...But they look so cool. Personaly I am going to buy my own set off CheapBay and retro them to the way I like. I love the 08's but they are NOT worth 500 bucks. Good luck with your search. Post pix of what ever you do, so we can digg on them!

If you think the headlamps are expensive, someone check the price of '08 tails...

I think it was somewhere around 350 per light.

Damn, 700 for some hideous lights, no thanks lol. I think i'll just stick with trying to get a pair of Anzo reds. Atleast those look clean.

H11 bulbs are whats in the 08 headlights, same as the xB. Yes these will bolt right in to your tc but the headlight bulb plug would need modifying unless you do HID's.
