I recently dropped my xA and I love it. I couldn't stand the xA wheel gap, so I bought Tein S-tech springs :D . I'm picking up a set of used ASA JS5's wheels 18's for now because wheels are a must with a lowered car.

Seeing Takumi's and BacknblackxA's xA has convinced me to get tein s-techs...they look perfect!

the cheapest place that I've found so far is on ebay for $145 (shipping included)

Sorry, guys. No offense, but that lowered look does nothing for me. Body kits hurt my eyes even more.

I know, I know, I'm way too old for this group. But I like my xA just the way it came, wheel gap and all. I'll need that ground clearance for deep mountain snow, and I kinda like the SUV look anyway. Just give me cruise control for my lazy old gas foot and some window tint to protect my ever wrinkling skin. I'll save all that mod money for my prescription drugs.

OK, boys and girls, back to your regularly scheduled programming. :D

Hey, moderators, how about a forum just for us stodgy owners of stock xAs?

I love my TRD's. . . they don't scrape easily and they look good. Lowering should be STANDARD.

Well I chose my first add-on/mod being the security system over the springs...safety of the car comes first

But I agreed that car would look nicer if it's lowered a bit. With all the reads on STB being difficult to install and OEM struts/shocks being broken w/aftermarket springs. I guess I will save up and do everything at the same time...plus need to get some paint for the calipers...just being lazy

I know I have a tC and this is an xA thread. But does it seem like all Scion models should have been dropped before they're out of the assembly line? It's like Scion/Toyota jacked the cars up just so we have to buy springs to make it look right.

Yah I say lower the xA. Stock height is just ridiculous. I guess bodykits are optional. From past experiences dealing with bodykits, I won't let my scion go through it.
