Default launching a tC; question

hey guys !

i have a question about the tC. I have an 02 camry 4Cyl auto. so its pretty much the same as the tC except 100 lbs heavier.

if im at a dead stop and then suddenly add about 50% percent throttle it chirps a little for about a second, on dry pavemet. i haev Michellen Pilots on theyre about a year old.

i was wondering if the tC is like that too?

this question might have to be placed in the tC section for better answering.

You'll chirp them with less than 50% throttle, at least in a manual .

should probably get some 15" rims and some Pirelli Scorpion A/Ts, they'll do great in rain/snow/etc. Damn low-profile wide 17" grippy tires... grumble grumble grumble...

The problem is that they are not grippy at all. They have about as much grip as a ball bearing on ice. Higher quality rubber would do WONDERs for the handling, braking, and overall driving experience of the tC.

The Bridgestone RE-92s that come equipped from the factory are widely regarded as crap. They are original equipment on many cars, even including the WRX, and so you would think that they would be halfway decent performance tires. However, nothing is further that the truth.

Although not very objective, the reviews on tirerack prove that there are many dissatisfied people out there with this tire:
