Default 215/50/17

Hi

got my new 08 xb, and having my wheels and tires to come in by the weekend. would the 215/50/17 rub in the fromt and back. is i to thick or beefy ? this is the size i choose because this car would be driven by my wife and i am afraid if i go lower than 50 series it might be to thin for her. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you so much guys

newb in this and any help would be great

Those should work fine, your speedo will be off (about 2 mph slow) but should'nt rub. I have 225/45-17's on my Maxima and they're almost exactly the same size as the stock xb2 tires...only .4 in shorter sidewall. Google tire calculator and you can try different sizes.

I have 215/50/17 and they don't rub. The car rides nice. I have not put the TRD springs on yet though.

thanks guys, found the tire size calc. this forum is really awesome spending my time in the office reading a bunch of stuff hahaha cant wait till my wheels arrive this weekend
