Actually seems right on to me. Xb's in CA are borderline crazy. The new Gen 2's are 17 and today I saw several for 15900 and they were 2 years old! WTF!?

That's a pretty decent price, actually. That body kit looks pretty nice (and I'm generally not a fan of body kits). Never understood the removing of the rear wiper thing, though.

Actually... I DO like the fake fab kit....

I can already imagine...
[Dealer]"YOU WANT LESS THAN THAAAT????"
[FlakoFigZ]"ummmmmm... dude the back wiper's missing, and you expect ME to pay 11 grand for a car that falling apart?!"(Though secretly I was gonna do that mod anyway...)

All in all I'd say that xB seems a little over priced, but if you like it and if you can go check it out to make sure it's in good shape than go for it. I'm pretty pleased with my xB which is also a manual. It's a little jerky to steer, but that may be because of the low tread on my tires and I've only driven it in the rain because its been raining none stop around here lately. Fun car to drive though, very pleased!

Just get a car fax report, remember that when you but it with 50,000 miles and have it for a couple of years its worth nothing but you still will owe!

It's a Toyota Echo engine... with proper maintenance it should surpass 300K pretty easily.

....well.. sorry about leaving u guys hangin'... (forgot about the post)...I took a look at the xB, thought about it and decided to wait. It already had some modifications done like it shows in the pics... but 50,000 miles kinda turned me off. Also, if I wait, i'll most likely find an untouched xB at the same or better price.

Don't worry... when I get it.. E V E R Y O N E will know.. O_O

Actually, I'm liking the panda look (white/black 8-6 corrola look).. So I'll wait for a PW box. After that Look out NC!

Good deal, no sense in jumping right in at the first one you find. Seeing as PW is one of the most common colors you should be able to find a bone stock version that will be your blank canvas.
Have you searched www.autotrader.com yet? They allow you to search for certain miles and colors.

Yep... look on there every day... OK, more like every other day. Its a good site. only thing is the only other xBs in my area are 13K or more, and I can only afford 8 to 10 k.

Have you tried to hook up with someone that goes to auctions? You might find something in you budget.
