i just bought the 12 psi pulley and will instal it tomorow and then to the dyno to setup
but
i"m worried about blowing the engine, i've been running the 7 psi about 4 month , 3000 miles now with no problem my air fuel ratio is 13.3 and i got a good tunner
what you guys think of my chances of blowing the engine?
might need some bigger injectors...and yeah, be safe. don't blow your motor.

oh yeah, and do you have other stuff like an intercooler, or water/meth injection?

oh, and there are much better piggyback ecu's than the apexi neo i see listed in your profile. emanage ultimate, aem f/ic, and unichip.

Um the apexi Neo doesnt do a thing for this car A, and B you need a real engine management system or it WILL explode. I dont under stand why you think its an accomplishment to get 3k miles out of it, if you look historically its at about 10k that the blowers will go out if they are going to go. Do you even have a supercharger? I didnt see it listed in your profile mods.....
maybe he just got the pulley, and doesn't know he needs the supercharger too! LOL

I got 20k miles out of my first charger, it was only replaced because a broken braket on the pulley side. The portion of the the pulley side that houses the bearing paked in it. My car overall has been s/c for 30k miles.

any info will be great!
12lbs s/c building in a strait line is better then a turbo rushing the air in. So with that in mind - I am going to say that it has been done on the s/c and the guy (karl/icenine) did not blow his engine. I do know that the injectors with the s/c max out around 285whp and you never want to be running anywhere near full cycle on injectors. Karl had the s/c cams so thats what put him into the 300whp range (and methanol). I think that you should upgrade your injectors to 5-650's and run methanol if you want to be safer. The fuel pump can remain the same and the stock injectors should work .....but you are surely will be almost maxing out on the cycle for them. Dezod is selling plug and play 750's - They will be more then what you will ever need on the s/c but for the price they will be around the same as 650's. Its surely not going to hurt you ....the injectors will be working less hard. Just make sure you get tuned w/ them on - they are pnp so they will just pop in w/o any cutting.
