Default painted valve cover and ground wires pictures

I painted my valve cover Friday morning at 6am outside, so the results isnt that great,but it'll work for now

Thanks for the postive replies. I wanted a darker blue paint, but they didn't really have it in stock so I just got this. I was trying to get it to match the ground wires and car paint, but this will do and it was cheap too, $6 for the paint.

I like that blue and for $6 you can always change it later!

I did my calipers and drums in red, so I'm thinking red for the valve cover.

Here's an idea: Get a can of high-temp clear coat first....then go to a craft store and buy a paint pen (I believe they have those around)...then you could rough up the paint on the letters a little with some steel wool, use the paint pen to color in the letters, then once that is dry - spray on the clear coat. Anyone think that would work?

^ thats a good idea. I was going to mask mine off, but I didnt have any tape so i just painted the whole thing. I was going to sharpie in the toyota sign and vvti.

when i looked under the hood of my 68 Ford Bronco, i had the same Blue color on my 302 engine block
