Figure out a bit about your turbo (spools fully at what rpm, etc) and shift before. Don't get into boost all together would also help...

ohhh and to get the mpg like you had it...take off the turbo

If you want something to drive like a "factory-turbocharged" car, you probably should buy one because nothing you do to the tC will make as reliable.

Your problem is a simple one: you're trying force the ECU to do something it wasn't designed to handle, so as more air is forced into the engine, the ECU will try to compensate by dumping more fuel thru the injectors.

do you really expect to get same or close to same mpg on a boosted car? if you boost all the time or redline it- thats the kind of mpg you'll get.

for daily driving i just shift at 3K rpm before the turbo even starts spooling... that way you'll get decent mpg

Got a stage 0 on my 06 auto. The key is to keep the car out of boost only use it when you need it! I get 24 MPG with my car with the kit on it.

If you want to go faster, fuel economy shouldn't register on your list of concerns.

The fact you're getting CELs may also affect your fuel economy. The ECU may try and compensate for the errors it's receiving and dump more fuel into the engine. Get your CELs cleared, get tuned, and your MPG will go up.

A P0606 code is a ECU code (as in something is wrong with the actual ECU box). There is a possibility the ECU may need to be replaced. The problem may have nothing to do with the turbo kit. If you have a wide band that may shed some light. I have a feeling you are not loading the engine alot so i doubt you are at 14.7:1 AFR all the time like you normally would if everything is normal. I personally just got 28.8 MPG on a trip with my ZPI stage 1 and I went up from sea level to over 4000 feet. The only other thing I could think of is possibly something is not connected (like front o2 sensor or something else).

You cannot tune the stock ecu, but you do not need larger injectors. You need enginemanagement, and if you get the AEM F/IC, it should be able to get rid of your CEL depending on what your codes are.

SOunds like you do NOT have any O2 sensors connected and they adjust the injection to keep the air fool ratio correct. Without the sensors it runs on the rich side and you probably changed to bigger injectors which add even more fool to the engine. The second O2 sensor is expecting the CAT to change the Oxygen content in the exhaust a little from what the first O2 sensor reads and if there is no cat then that may be giving you the cel as well as the A/F ratio being way off making it worse. CHeck your tail pipe for soot or unburnt gasoline coming out.

no you don't need new injectors if you're running just 6 psi. make sure your sensors are connected and get a aem f/ic that should fix things

I agree with nebster...you don't need bigger injectors for 6psi on a zpi kit. I recomend the AEM F/IC, just make sure you have a tuner lined up. And you might need the anti fouler trick for the rear 02 sensor.
