I'm so excited. I've been reading a lot of the forums and you guys have really helped me decide to get the car. Thanks for this forum and thanks for all of your information.
So, I just ordered:
2005 Scion tC automatic with security.
Bland huh? HAHA. Well for the price of all the "stock" upgrades from McGerogeParts I figured it wouldnt make sense to finance something that is already double the cost. So I'll just do it myself.
My sales guy (Tommy from Scion of Killeen if anyone is interested) is AWESOME and I highly recommend him. Said it could be as few as 2 weeks depending on what some of the dealers in the area get or could be 6 weeks, or somewhere inbetween.
Congrats. I have a Flint Mica. I do like the white offset with dark moonroof. Make sure your car does not have the moonroof rattle and that if it has not been fixed, have the TSB done on your moonroof.
Good choice on color. Stay away from the Flint Mica so I can get one :D
I already came across 3 White w/auto from different dealerships, sitting in the lot.
All in Portland, OR.
Now before you guys go all ape$h1t on me for getting a white one let me justify it, haha.
1. It hotter than two kittens having sex in a wool sock in the desert here in Texas, white will keep the car cooler
2. I LOVE the way the black roof and lines of the car contrast with the white, I just love that look
Thanks!
haha, during basic training, my training instructor used a similar analogy. The variation was.. "it's hotter out here than two rats having sex in a wool sock in a pizza oven" not as funny now as it was when we were on our faces, doing push ups... ahh, the good ole days.

whew, i was going to get sad. I have only seen 2 tC's driving around Austin so far (I know there are more but I dont see them). One is Indigo Ink and the other one is BCP.
I'm SO excited. This is my first car that I purchased. I currently drive a 1988 Mazda RX7 convertible that is falling apart. Driven it for 5 years ever since I got my license, its time to put her to rest and move on, haha.
Put over 5k down and financed the remaining ~13k. I CANT WAIT!
