thanks darrell and adrian for the great report from detroit.
did scion say if the tC was going to be built in the US or overseas? i know most people don't care, but with the tC being a new car designed for the US market, i figure it would be built in one of toyotas plants domestically. thanks for any info you have.

i saw the tc last night at the la auto show along with the xB 1.0, and the tc looks pretty tight.

I just asked Max (Scion customer advocate) on the Scion.com live chat and he said it will be produced in Japan!

I have a question, what kind of sunshades does the tC have? Because it doesn't look like there is enough room up there for two normal (hard) shades. Are they just rolling curtain blind curtain type of things?

it is, this car is a hatchback, but looks like a coupe.
