I had been accepted to Le Cordon Bleu in Vegas but have not gone, yet at the time I could not get the financial aid. I looked in the CIA also but way more money, its a very good place to go though. I did not like them because they make you chose what side of things you do, ie pastry, garnish, ice sculpture, etc. where as Cordon Bleu teaches you every thing, including front of the house.

And good luck.

yea that was my main beef with them.

Cordon Bleu start from the beginning and goes through everything, including cutting meat, and chocolates, etc. they can be a little hard to get into as well, but their semesters start every 75 days, so you can try again after that, you do have to do an interview, they do not care about your SAT scores or you grades, just your passion for coking.
if you have any question about them let me know, and maybe I can help.

yea it was going to cost me right at $47,000 for Vegas, but that included everything but living. like books, tuition, and a knife and cooking tool kit that you keep.
