Default xA and xB TRD supercharger

I was told by someone that i work with at Toyota that TRD is in the process of developing a supercharger for the xA and xB. Does anyone know anything about this at all??

Rumor has it that they are going to rebadge the Blitz supercharger as a TRD supercharger and sell it at dealerships as an option...

I would be happy with a rebadged Blitz as a dealer option - I've been thinking about the Blitz...

i don't think it would be rebadged as a toyota item, if anything, it'll probably be a joint venture sorta like how enkei made wheels for the evos and how rays engineering wheels were made for the 350z as well. they weren't rebadged as a nissan item and as far as i know, nissan made a nismo wheel as an option for the 350z as well... having THE blitz supercharger rebagded as THE trd supercharger... mmmmmmno...

And the joint venture on the AEM intake too.

All good items. In fact, the only thing they came with that I can't put my heart into selling is the Bazooka tube for the Xs.

who cares what name its gonna have? the point is that we can get a decent SC without voiding the warranty :D

whoa... who said anything about not voiding the warranty? it could or could not. nissan has a similar idea with its NISMO product line, the S tune products, which were basic boltons, were covered under warranty and the R tune products, which were a little bit more than just boltons, weren't ... i'd don't know if a sc is considered a basic bolton but i'd consult with the dealership before taking that route.

The Camry and Solara SC's offered through TRD are all covered under warranty.

Now, I wanna see the TRD Turbo kit over here!

I think the TRD springs are TRD not Eibach. I believe the exhaust is TRD. TRD is a company who has been around for a while, they don't need to rebadge stuff and sell it off. They didn't rebadge the wheels either, Racing Hart is still stamped on the inside, just as if you bought them from Discount or whatever, TRD just put a sticker on them

Where are you getting this information? I did a search on google, and called Toyota, but they said that they were manufactured by TRD... and not a third party so which is it?

anyone got any idea of dates that the TRD s/c will be released for the xB??

I'll be one of the first in line... there's no air up here in the mountains and on the way to go skiing with my roof rack loaded up... 4th gear, flooring it... losing speed at 65mph... need more air...
