Default Help with Fuel Rail - How to Remove

I was given a brand new spare fuel rail. I'm looking to tap the new one on the other end so I can feed fuel to something else....

I'm not wanting to make a huge mess with fuel in my engine bay... so this is my questions...

How do I disconnect the current rail, and replace with the modified one? Will fuel spill out? Will it just be the little bit that is in the rail... or will it be pressurized and squirt out? Do I clamp it off somewhere?

Please don't answer these questions unless you are 100% sure in regards to the Scion TC.

if you want to disconnect the rail you first want to relieve the fuel pressure.... pull the fuse out for the fuel pump.... if you look in the fuse panel and look for the symbol that looks like an engine or read the panel for fuel it'll show you where that fuse is... pull it out and crank the engine until it won't start.... it should be a few cranks and then it'll just keep cranking over like there is no gas or something.......once that's done just follow the rail back to it's end....you'll find a fuel line connected to it and just unscrew it using two wrenches......once that's done just take the rail off and transfer the injectors............you shouldn't really have a huge puddle of fuel or anything....just keep a rag handy for the few drips and what not.....also a can of brake cleaner will help to keeping things clean
