Default HID question

Hi everyone. I am planning to get HID for my 08 tc. It came with halogen projectors. So my question is if I put HID in the halogen projector, would the light output be greater and would the intensity of light on the road will be higher than the regular halogen bulb? I heard somewhere that you cant put HID in halogen projector but I am not sure if it is correct. So Pllzzzzz help me out. thanks.

yes, you can, i have 5000k hids in my 08. its a million times better than the stock set up. do a search on here for mobileHID, or pm cliffud, he can hook you up.

you need to get the H11 set up.

You can do it, but that projector isn't made for HIDs. It's not going to hurt anything, you just wont get the light projection and cut off that you would from a projector that is made for HIDs. It still looks good, and a lot better than stock. I have the MobileHID kit.

I had 5000k and then switched to 6000k with my 08 headlights. I love em.

Yes you need a H11 set........and the cutoff is really good ,but no where as good as a real HID projector.........but all in all it works better than I expected it to........my cutoff is very straight across only a few jumps across the edges like 2-3 inches higher.

No. HIDs come as the whole kit. The only way you can change just the bulbs is if you already have an existing kit (ballasts, wiring, fuse etc)
