I Want To Theme My Box Like A Police Car.
But Still Have It Be Street legal.
Any Suggestions?

 

You could prolly give it that paint scheme but unless you were a real cop you won't be able to run the lights and badges.
I've often thought of doing like a fire chiefs style xB. I can do it tho cause I'm a volunteer fire man.
It couldn't hurt to ask at your local police dept. what the legalities would be. Good luck!

If you're going to go the police route, you need to keep the steelies and rock the trim rings and center cap. I went that route, and now I'm rocking the butch box.

 

nice, my friend is doing his durango to look like a sherrif durango we have here. and, i do believe that is actually legal to have real lights ontop of your car, except you CANT use them... www.strobesnmore.com sells them. and theres a drag car here that has real ones, so idk how illegal it actually is. i would reccomend trying to speak to a high ranking officer first though. i work for the PD here, but i only answer 911 calls... for now. lemme know what you find out, im curious about it too.

 

yeah, we used to buy ex-police cars with the light bars and sirens still on them.. they would cut the harness.. you just cant actually use them, but I am sure all of this is up to your local laws

Except the spotlights, but as long as you arent acting like a police cruiser, then i dont believe its illegal. I wouldnt want the attention it'll bring.
