What's up SL I'm on the search for a nice set of rims to go with my FM and I think I've decided to go with an all black look...what do you guys think of these ones? They are TENZO Type-M 18x8 and they go for $1,303 with the NITTO's NT 555! Anyone rockin' them?




they will be going on here with a black powder coated FIG grill..let me know...(oh by the way I'm aware a lot of people on here do not like stickers, but I do so let's keep those comments away. Everyone is entitled to their opinion) stick with the rims......any suggestions as far wheels go are WELCOMED (within the same price range would be great)!

with the helpful input of some fellow SLers i decided to go a different route...these are the ones...yet i haven't seen them anywhere.....y is that?

nah jk. i think it would look good. maybe even a bronze color aswell. never a fan of black on FM but if you like it then why not?

i would say start finding some FM tC's with ALL black rims and get some thoughts on it. I personally like a dark silver with FM. Of course, its all IMO.

 

I think they would look sick on ur car !

If you're going with an all dark look why not get your stickers made in FM or similar color? You'll have the best of both worlds IMHO; you'll still have your stickers and the nay-sayers really won't be able to see them. Can anybody say 'ghosted'?

Just remember that websites use 20"+ rims on their sites. So the size you may end up with will not be that concave. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I'm just throwing that out there. GL.

 

its not the fact that they'd be 20"+ its the fact that concave wheels need extremely low offsets (0 or negative) and this will not happen with the tc. keep that in mind, look around here there are some cars that have it and honestly it doesn't look very good

 

I love the rims, but i am not sure how i feel about them with your paint??? Good luck

I understand..you see I'm not really familiar with wheel fitting, offsets etc. i just really like the way those look..are there any rims similar to that would fit on a tC? I guess if i can't have that affect of "concave" i wouldn't care if they were black, bronze or gold...any suggestions on specific models....

lol no not yet...it's been 3 years...usually people ask about the windshield but that doesn't give me any trouble either...cops in nassau don't give a ____...when i used to go to queens college i used to get stared down by the cops in my old car and i got pulled over once or twice but if you're nice to them they just tell you to take it off..that's all.

 

.... yeahh.. it was nice when i lived in LI... i live in queens now and cops just follow me for the hell of it.. i swear they enjoy watching me drive speedlimit.. hahaha
