Default MP3 players skipping songs?

I have a big CD-R with over 100 songs on it. It plays perfectly fine all the way through. However, after it finishes the last song and goes back to the very beginning, then the MP3 player goes haywire. It would play songs out of order (or basically skipping songs at random), like it would play #2, 5, 6, 9, 11..... and skip a bunch of songs in between.
Does anyone else have this issue?

are you sure that all the songs on the disk are in MP3 format. If you DL music sometimes it's in other formats such as WMA, RAM, OGG, that the mp3 player won't read.

I don't think the disc is scratched. Anyways- like I said it always plays perfectly the first time around. It's only AFTER it's finished all the songs, and goes back to the beginning, that it starts to act haywire.

How do other people's MP3 player behave? Does it finish all the songs, and then goes back to number 1, and then repeats perfectly?
