Default Shipping Tires

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering who here has shipped tires, and how they do it, and how much they cost. I have 9 tires, 245/40/18, and i was planning on shipping four together, and then the rest either separately, or as a set of three and then the other two separately. I've seen people use masking tape and just tape them together, but then how much does it cost to ship them?

Thanks!

Your cheapest option (unless you have a palleting or freighting account with a carrier) will be GPX (Greyhound Package Express). I shipped a 90lb box the size of a coffin cross country for about $70.

you can do what the tire companies do....

you can ziptie (the super thick hardcore ones) 2 tires together and ship it as 2 packages. Just use cleartape to tape the shipping label to the tires.
