Scion's r a fixed price. There like Saturn, no matter what dealer you go to, it will be the same price for the base model and then if you want extras they just add that in.

With the way the US dollar has been crashing versus foreign currency (thanks to the idiotic fiscal policies of our current administration) the price of all imported goods is likely to rise.

MSRP does not change mid model year. this is the middle of the 05 model year, so in march you won't see a difference in price.

Survey says...........your wrong. From 04-05 they went up like $35. From the early 05 models to the ones coming in now they went up another $35 in the middle of the year. So it is possible that they could go up again by March.

That's what I meant, but it still counts as the final price of the car.

MSRP DOES NOT include Destination charges. So who did this "survey" and what did I post that was wrong?

Just b/c the MSRP does not change, just the delivery charge, doesn't mean the the car isn't going up in price. Either way you have to pay the delivery charge whether you like it or not so technically the car is going up in price.

why would MSRP not go up? We have the failing dollar and the increase in the price of energy (which might not effect japan, since we sell them our energy at a great rate!! we're so smart).

My question though is why wouldn't it go up mid year?

the only time I've seen a price change mid year, is when there is a half year model (i.e. 99 1/2) this though is a completely different model than the 99...

If you're worried about a $35 increase in destination charges, perhaps you shouldn't buy a new car... that's like a 1/5 of a percent increase...

Where did you get $35 from, mine was almost $100 cheaper. I bought rims, tires, cai, grill, tail lights, header, exhaust, strut bar, and springs with the money I saved. Well, I ordered all of that about a month after I bought my car.
