Normally I see car forums filled with mostly guys... but being as how the TC has roots in the Celica and it seems to appeal to a larger group of the female persuasion, I was wondering how the sexes stack up around here...

yeah the tC definitely has the "chick" car stigma like a focus or a corolla but almost every girl that drives a tC around socal is hot so its all good...

female count is very low on this forum.

even though a lot of tc owners are female, most of them buy them, keep it stock, and never visit enthusiast forums.

there are a very few exceptions however on this forum, from what Ive seen its incredibly lopsided,

like 50+:1 ratio

Stock tC = Chick's and older (than me) person's car.
Modified tC = Dude's pride and joy.

That's how I see it most of the time. Although there are/were a small amount of some pretty
cool tCs chicas have done. Hey, the more the merrier. I don't discriminate.

Whenever I see a debadged tC or a slightly modified one on the street it's 9 out of 10 times a guy driving it, but every once in awhile I'll see a girl driving a modded tC.

The same applies to Honda Civics. The modded ones are guys and the stock ones are girls.

Well my wife and I built her tC together..........we both consider it our own car........but on the majority she is driving it daily.........so I guess sadly I must vote girl....... ..........I get to build the Yaris as i want though.........

Another chick here! But I do agree that 99% of the time I see a modded tC there is a guy driving. If a girl is driving the only thing remotely close to a mod is some kind of flower decal and a licence plate cover. Makes me even more pround of my car!

more guys visit the forums and I always see guys driving the modded tc's and the girls with the stock ones.
