NOS is a company(nitrous oxide systems) you are refering to N2O, Nitrous oxide.

I wouldn't get it with our engine, but if you do, don't go bigger than a 35 shot

Nope I took it out. I'll be turbo in a few more weeks :D . It was o.k. I just need alittle more bang for my buck. I hated filling up the bottle all the time for alittle bit of kick. It's just not worth it to me.

can't you get a big bottle, with something that keeps it at a 35 shot?

The bottle size has nothing to do with the jetting sizes. Once you jet the nitrous kit, it stays at whatever you set it at. Whether it's a 35 shot, 50 shot, or 100 shot. That never changes unless you chang the jets. I have a 10lb bottle and it's $40 to fill it up when it's empty.

It all boils down to, how long you hold your foot to the floor. The nitrous is engaged by a switch locate on the gas pedal. When the arming switch is on and the bottle is open. Once you put your foot to the floor it's on

Word this isn't the fast and the furious.

I'm looking to do a 35 or a 50 shot in my tC in the near future ... just to hold me over before turbo next year

My Machine Shop said its ok to run, just dyno it, run no more then 35 and make sure you have these type items: Throttle Switch, O2 Sensor (detects the a/F Mixture) and a EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp Guage) That way you can shut it off or the car will shut it off when it gets too hot, when it gets too hot it flash bangs a piston, melts it, farks up the rings.
