Default Rubbing QUESTION....PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am getting a set of Rota D2's for my 06 tC, that has H&R race springs(about1.8" drop). I want to get 17x8.5. They wheels only come in a 35 or 48mm offset. I want to get the 35mm offset. Will they rub?...What size tires should I get with them?

Thanks

18x8.5 ET 35 rubs on full locking turns with that kind of drop. Depending on what tire size you go with, you may not rub with the 17x8.5 ET 35.

you can still run the 17x8.5 with a 215/45/17 tire and you really shouldn't have a problem rubbing. yes the tires with stretch but it will should be fine if mounted propertly.

I would run 225/45R17, but you can still run stock size 215/45R17.

with that offset you might want to go with a 215/40/18 tire, chances are you might rub with that offset.

18x8.5 ET 35 rubs on full lock turns on Tanabe DF210 (2" drop). You will be fine with 18x8 ET 35 and a 225/40R18 tire.
