Default tC vs. Deer (pics)

Hit a deer a few days ago, hit it going about 55 en route from Richmond to Waldorf at about 1:30 in the morning. Ran right out in front of me, there wasn't another car in sight so it had to have just been suicidal. It flew up pretty high so I'm pretty sure I killed him, my car kept running fine and wasn't making any strange noises or anything after I hit it so I kept going for a little bit before I got the courage to finally pull over and look at the damage. This is what I saw:

It's getting fixed now, about 5k in damages, had to go through insurance obviously. Overall it'll wind up costing me $500 for the deductable, $150-200 for the rental car, and eventually $150 for new Fig grilles. My luck sucks. Just thought I'd share. Also, is Doctor Isotope still selling the radiator cooling plate things? Cause I'm gonna need to get a new one of those too.

Seriously, adding rental to your policy is virtually nothing. It is very cheap and comes in very handy.

Yep, good reason not to beer and drive.

Truly sucks though. I have seen deer that cause that much damage and hop away before too, possibly die later from internal bleeding.
