I made a sprayer using the windshield washer bottle and pump, a pressure switch, vac hose, and 360 degree misters from a hydroponics store. Worked awesome.
yup it will need to be clocked as todds turbines are drop shipped. you would need to clock it regardless as fitment is different on all cars.. maybe not a huge difference but youd want to adjust it on install day.

its just a few bolts on the side of the turbo that needs to be clocked! just loosen them he doesnt even have to take them all the way out!..... if he cant clock the turbo, is he sure he can do everything else for the install??? changing injectors ( easy) , tapping oil pan?( easy) etc.
you just loosent he bolts on the turbine and it will spin freely.. attach the turbo to the manifold.. put the manifold on the motor.. adjust the turbine where you need it to be.. hand tighten the bolts.. pull the mani and turbine of the motor.. place the mani and turbine on a towel on the ground.. tighten the bolts back up real good.. put the mani and turbine back on the motor.. check for correct fitment/placement.. proceed to finish with the install! cake stuff! haha GL!!

Java was using the term "turbine" here meaning the hotside (dark side) of the turbo. You can also clock the compressor housing (other side) if necessary.

That's absurd.. if he's done "plenty of turbo installs" then he should know specifics. I can understand if he wanted tuning help - but clocking a turbo???

Ah sorry Bryan - you obviously were not asking which side.. lol
no prob bro.... we are trying top get the same point across.....
oh and guy who is trying to install the turbo.......as far as a base tune there is no such thing.... dezod will tell you the samething even if the setup is spec'd out the same things are just different from ambient air temp to the exact VE your car is running at RPM....... you'll have to tweak whatever map you have a little .... do you have a wideband? Maybe you should hook that up first!!!!
