Default Injen SRI DIY

Where can I find a SRI DIY (NOT CAI) for the Injen Intake?

...I've done some searching and can not find anything

I've been looking for the same thing and haven't seen ish out there. I know it's easy to make the CAI a SRI but who wants to pay for the extra piping that's not used. They should offer a SRI at a lower price.

1. Destroy stock air intake assembly. Sledgehammer works fine.
2. Slide rubber injen wristband and steel tightening thingies over throttle body and crooked black (you did get black, right?) pipe.
3. Tighten tightening thingies.
4. Slide big red air filter over crooked black pipe and steel tightening thingy.
5. Tighten tightening thingy.
6. ???
7. Profit!

It would be nice to roll with the CAI yes, but the gain in hp is minimal over a SRI and I live in Oregon so there's always rain even in the summer and the winter is just soaking wet. I was just making a point that while yes you can make a SRI out of a CAI, who would want to pay for the extra parts?

yeah... cause you need disconnect a terminal on the battery during the install so it'd set a new air to fuel ratio....
