Default Questions about this Magnaflow muffler?????

I am getting a Tc in about a week and want to put an exhaust system on their that is very mellow. I saw this muffler on Managflows web site and was wondering if anyone has ever heard one before, and if you have how does it sound? Most of the Magnaflows mufflers flow straight threw with no restrictions, but this one must have a U bend in it making it quieter. At least I am assuming that. Click the image to open in full size.

it'll be low and throaty but not a whole lot of noise and a lil less power than a straight thru. interesting tho. would u use that to replace the mid muffler and then just ruin pipe and a tip out back? thats a commonly used muffler on vettes and 350z's

I would really like to get the exhaust note similar to that of a 350z if possible. I would have the shop basically copy the trd axle back design. I don't really care for power gains but am more concerned with the sound. I am sure that the standard magnaflows like the one precision muffler sells are louder that I would want them to be. Do you think this setup would be even more subtle than the trd exhaust?

that 350z sounds is a characteristic of nissans exhaust design and of the motor

You don't necessarily have to run a muffler that follows the design the factory used.

Take for instance the Injen axleback, it comes straight back and sounds really, really nice. Or the just released Magnaflow axleback version Bian (Racing Solutions) posted up in the Sponsored sales Forum

I would look for something w/ the least amount of bends, like the two systems mentioned above.

Do you guys know what size the stock piping is on the Tc. Just wondering how bad this muffler would screw up the flow characteristics of the entire exhaust system. Going from what ever the stock piping is to a 2.5 can is will probably really slow down the flow but how bad? Stylis, can you ask your rep how this muffler would perform and sound on this car?
