Hey guys sorry if this has already been talked about but I couldnt find it when I did a search.

I have an 08 SW and my father drives an 06 tC. I asked him if I could trade taillights and he said sure because he really doesnt care what his car looks like as long as it gets good gas.

Anyways I do the swich, disconect the battery, reset the sunroof and windows. Now however I think something is wrong with my stock head unit. At first I thought it was all in my head but I am finding I have to turn up all my music to like 55 to get it where I want it where at once time I could not have it above 42.

Do I have to reset my head unit or anything?

I turned my fade all the way back to my back two speakers and there was pretty much no sound, even at max it was hard to hear with the windows down, I dont know if that is normal as I never really played with it before.

 

u dont have to reset anything on the radio, switch head units and see if the problem still occurs.

 

did you check the settings of the radio the ssp and the type of car it is in , i know my stock radio had stuff like that that made it loud

 

is def. the ssp button switch it to feel that's the one I think is the loudest.

 

o thats right, check the car setting too, theres xA, xB, tC
