Default tC Rear Speaker Suggestions

After listening to various types of music in my tC, I've determined that the weak link seems to be the rear speakers. So, I'd like to replace them with aftermarket speakers.

My preferences:
I listen to a lot of jazz, so I'd like speakers that sound "accurate".
I listen at MUCH lower volumes when other people are in the car, and the current speakers definitely don't sound too good at reduced volumes.

So, what speakers would best fit my needs? Do I need to put in a separate amp to power the rears, or can I avoid that?

If this doesn't work, then my diagnosis was wrong and I may have to replace the fronts as well. But, I'd like to try replacing only the rears first.

Its pointless. I replaced my rears with CDT components and did nothing for sound. Better to just replace the fronts and get a 2 channel amp to push them. You want most of the sound coming from the front. You save some money and get some nice front components and a nice amp you won't even need to think about the rears.

Okay, so what FRONTS and amp would you then recommend for my needs?

I have done the fronts. I am also interested in some rears as the SQ from the stock are garbage and dont vibe well with my fronts. Will 6.5s fit in the rear?

I got my tc wed. I put new speakers in friday. I got the polk db650 all the way around they are 6.5's. I love the way they sound. If you read the book on the pioneer head unit. you can change the car type between xa,xb,tc. If you hold down the ssp button and use volume to change it. I have a tc but changed the eq settings to either the xa or xb sounds awesome.

Rear speakers are just for fill. Almost any decent sound quality setup, the rears will be removed or replaced with some midbass drivers that are properly crossovered.

Get a decent front setup, with decent power, and you'll be more than happy.
