can anybody give me the dimensions for the xb? what does everyone think about installing a rag top... i think that flat rectangle roof is perfect for a full open rag top the whole lenght of the roof...
A guy had one at one of our meets. Although It's not my look exactly, the size of the opening was awesome. There's also a huge Webasto sunroof that opens half the roof practically...

how much would something like that cost to do? I was thinking about doing it last night? dose it really handle like crap? why would it make such a difference?
I guessing he means that it affects the center of gravity by adding that weight to the top of the car, but I haven't heard any sunroof owners complaining...
Look on the scion website and I'm sure you can find dims. there. From what I hear though the xB handles like crapola with a ragtop.
The roof needs to be reinforced if you remove or cut the cross supports.
Typically you would weld or bolt in a strong metal frame that joins
the two sides together before you put in the rag top.
If they forgot to do this, it would explain
why the body flexes a lot.

First to build a Rally xB... well I'm still working on that.
We install the WEbasto 4" moonroof for 1800, we install the webasto ragtop for 1200 and we install a conventions Camry type Webasto moonroof for 1100
