either rotors warped and no pads.. uneven wear or something.. you probably need to get under the car and examine the brake pads.. if it's metal on metal.. switch them out asap.

yeah check the rotors if its warped or if the brakes are worn.. you might also check the wheel bearing, a bad one can cause the calipers to rub with rotors and score it really bad but the noise more of a grinding, metal rubbing noise.. if its a screeching noise, i bet its the tires

I have the squeal from my brakes, but only some of the time when im braking (probably 75% of the time). Its annoying but I haven't been able to get my car on a lift to take a look.

is it a loud sharp screeching noise?
i noticed a little rubbing when i turn and brake. especially hard turns.
could it be your calipers?

maybe you have hawk pads.. hps plus. ceramic pads will eat up your rotors.. i don't know what you have.. but an estimated cost could be quite expensive.. new front rotors and new pads.. maybe 270 give or take..

orrr, you can pm me on a hook up for all four rotors and brake pads for less than that...

are you holding the steering wheel at full lock, where it doesn't stop anymore when this noise happens?
