Does anyone here know if the rear lip spoiler is held down by just 3M tape or is it bolted on? I am looking at getting an aftermarket spoiler and since my new car hasn't come in yet (crashed the last one) I don't know if it has holes. I don't want to buy an aftermarket spolier that doesn't go in the same holes (if there are any) or at least cover them up. Thanks for the input. My dealer is clueless.

For a new aftermarket spoiler bolted on, and uses factory holes. It is custom for the tC.

 

the oem rear lip spoiler has 4 holes in your hatch and 3m tape around. i installed my and drilling those holes into it was scary. but i managed and it came our real good.
