Are the TC's only special order or are the cars on the lot?

I am asking because it seems that the only way that you could get all the stuff you want in the car through some kind of ordering process not just off of the lot. Might seem like a foolish question, but I am planning on getting one but i want to know if I am going to wait or leave driving a TC.

You can have any accessory installed at the dealership. The only difference is that the ground effects kit and 18" wheels would be more expensive because the prices you see are the port installed prices.

The "ordering process" you speak of is merely just your dealer seeing what is available at port, trading with the dealer that has the vehicle, having accessories installed, then having the car delivered to the dealership. Here in SC, if a car is at port, this process takes 3-10 days.

depends on the demand in your area.. here in michigan there is about a 90 day wait on some colors.. other's have them in stock.. i think toyota is getting better about ramping up production..

I currently have 8 tCs in the pipeline and all 8 have deposits on them. I have two other deposits for cars that I don't have allocated yet. I tell my customers to expect a 3 to 6 week wait, while the black 5 speed may be more like 8.

The only factory installed option is the Side Air Bags. If you don't get that the dealership should be able to do any other option you want. The reason for a wait is because there is a waiting list (more buyers than cars available) right now. Options shouldn't extend your wait unless you get the SAB.

we're at about a 6-8 week wait, but my manager works his ___ off to get my cars in faster... I'm on an average of about 4 weeks right now... even for hard to get colors... I wrote an azure blue on 11-24 and delivered it today....first one ive seen yet..... toyota's increased production though, supposedly..... so hopefully by summer we won't be so long....

right now we actually have a few available from the recent allocation however im not assuming they wil last all that long. We are running about a 4 week wait on some of the common colors, the longest i have had to have someone wait was 8 weeks and that was for an auto in white with the side bags.
